I have a full advertising screen on the back of my car, a Nissan rogue, and the entire rear window is covered with see-through advertising. It is not very see-through at night, and that’s when I really take my chances driving. When I found this device, I checked out the reviews, and they were excellent. And when I got it, I realized why. Installation was really easy. When I first got this, the back-up camera was a little hard to see things behind me at night, especially when it was raining. With no provocation from myself, I got an email from the seller, and they said that they have an improved back-up camera that makes night vision so much better and they would like to send it to me free of charge. I was overwhelmed! I don’t know when that’s ever happened before! He was right, the camera is much better, plus the mounting mechanism on the camera is much more secure than the original one. I’m a big fan of this company. They did all the right things and they have a really good product. I am very grateful to them for their follow-up and graciously offering to upgrade my equipment without me even having to ask. Good, no great customer service! Bravo.”
User Review 2: “I bought this on an excited Prime Day whim. I have wanted a dashcam for a while, not this style. So when this popped up on sale, I thought ‘Why not!’ Well, I should have read some reviews and researched a little. While I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the camera and the clarity of the recordings, the ease of the touch screen, and setup, the wiring has taken me 6 hours to finish. I don’t have a ton of experience installing stuff like this, but I am fairly mechanical and am not afraid to work on my car. But the rear camera was a PIA to install. I have a ’22 4Runner, which the back window rolls down, and cabling the camera around the rolling up/down of the window was a challenge. Once inside the hatch, it was smooth sailing. I also installed the hardwire kit; the instructions with the camera are great for connecting to the fuse box but beyond that, unless you have experience running cable into your cabin from your engine bay, this proves to be a difficult task. All in all, I was able to install the rearview camera (not a backup assist as my car already had one) and the hardwire kit as well as the GPS, and I do LOVE the looks of it. I have used the lock video function once and found it super easy to play back the video.”
